Terry
My love of good food and cooking started early. My mother and older sister
are wonderful cooks and by their side I learned to simmer, baste, and
puree. They taught me to expend calories and effort on food that is delicious
and healthy and have passed down many of their recipes to make this possible.
I enjoy cooking
for family and friends because it is a satisfying and creative way of
saying that I care. As a personal chef I enjoy making it possible for
others to nurture the people in their lives with appetizing, home-prepared
meals. What better way is there to enjoy time spent with family than over
a delicious meal planned and prepared by someone else?

I come from
a large family, and while we all lived at home, our interests and activities
took us in multiple directions. One thing remained constant however; the
evening’s meal. It was often the only opportunity we had during
the day to sit together as a family. Although I’m sure my parents
wondered if it was worth the effort, these family mealtimes were important
to me then and now. My husband and I continue this tradition with our
children, and as a personal chef, I take great pleasure in making it possible
for other families to also share an evening meal together.
